Centennial Nuns
As a contribution to the Centennial of Saint Joseph’s School, Dannevirke, Mike prepared a set of ten nuns sculptured from bricks recovered at the time of the demolition of the old school in the 1980’s. These formed part of a successful auction for the event.
Whangamomona, 2010
An opportunity to journey through the Forgotten World Highway and a proud moment to reminisce with a Whangamomona Ale. Mike with old rugby team caricature which he sketched in 1969 when he worked as a farm labourer in the district. The comic piece forms part of the extensive wall picture display in the historic bar.
